Job summary

Highland Rivers Behavioral Health in Jasper, GA seeks a licensed mental health professional for a half Apex/half in-clinic role. Provide assessments, counseling, and contribute to treatment planning within a school setting and clinic.

You will collaborate with schools and community partners, manage paperwork, and maintain a robust caseload with a focus on recovery. A Master’s degree and Georgia licensure are preferred; bilingual skills are a plus.

Qualifications

• Must hold active Georgia license as LAPC, LPC, LMSW, LCSW, or LMFT (preferred).
• Master's degree in counseling, social work, or related field required.
• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides assessments, individual, family, crisis, and group counseling per treatment plans.
• Participates in developing and maintaining a collaborative service environment.
• Works with DFCS, School, DJJ, Juvenile court to ensure continuity of care.
• Provides billable direct service to individuals in a school setting.
• Attends required meetings or trainings (Youth MH First Aid, SOC Academy, APEX).
• Completes paperwork and ensures eligibility or referrals.
• Manages caseload; ensures authorizations and up-to-date charts.
• Builds group curriculum and schedules groups for crisis intervention.
• Links with other agencies to secure needed resources.
• Uses multidisciplinary assessment to contribute to an individualized service/recover plan.
