Job summary

Highland Rivers Behavioral Health is seeking clinicians to deliver school-based mental health services under the Georgia Apex Project. You will perform assessments and provide individual, family, crisis, and group counseling aligned with treatment plans, while coordinating with schools and other agencies.

You will maintain documentation, participate in required trainings, and help develop a calendar of groups for crisis intervention, with a focus on recovery and continuity of care within the

Qualifications

• Ability to provide assessments and a range of counseling modalities (individual, family, crisis, group).
• Capable of maintaining required paperwork per policy and procedure.

Responsibilities

• Provide assessments and direct counseling per treatment plans.
• Develop and maintain a collaborative service environment within the community.
• Work with DFCS, School, DJJ, and Juvenile court personnel to ensure continuity of care.
• Provide billable direct service to individuals in school settings.
• Attend required meetings and trainings related to the APEX contract.
• Complete paperwork and ensure eligibility determination or referrals as needed.
• Manage caseload with proper authorization and up-to-date charts.
• Build group curricula and schedule groups for crisis intervention.
• Link and advocate with other agencies for resources.
• Contribute to comprehensive recovery plans using multidisciplinary assessments.
