Job summary

National Youth Advocate Program (NYAP) in Arcadia, Ohio is seeking a full-time Therapist to join our School-Based Therapy Team at Arcadia Local Schools. The role provides counseling, advocacy, and support to youth and families to help them live safely in the community.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Social Work or comparable Human Services field is required.
• 2 years of direct service experience with youth and families is strongly preferred.
• TF-CBT experience is a plus.
• A valid professional license as required by state or contract regulations.
• Willingness to work flexible and non-traditional hours in service of foster caregivers and youth.

Responsibilities

• Provides individual, group, and family mental health services and case management.
• Travels daily to deliver community-based services to youth and families.
• Completes all required documentation in a timely manner.
• Participates in supervision and Continuous Quality Improvement activities.
• Coordinates and monitors services for youth and families across multiple domains.
• Reviews and updates youth plans to ensure progress toward goals.
• Fosters strong relationships with foster parents and families of origin.
