• Salary Range: $58,240 - $79,040 (pay band 7), $66,560 - $85,280 (pay band 9) BOE

Range Mental Health Center is a Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic (CCBHC) dedicated to increasing access to mental health and substance use disorder services, advancing integration with physical health care, and promoting evidence-based practices.

Job Summary

The School Based Therapist conducts evaluations, develops and reviews treatment plans, provides psychotherapy, crisis intervention, and collaborates with school staff, families, and other professionals to support youth mental health.

Responsibilities

1. Complete evaluations and develop treatment plans in collaboration with families and providers.
2. Provide individual, family, and group psychotherapy.
3. Respond to crises and provide intervention as needed.
4. Maintain clinical documentation in accordance with agency and DHS standards.
5. Build positive relationships with families, schools, and agencies.
6. Participate in meetings, trainings, and interdisciplinary collaboration.
7. Provide culturally competent services and adhere to all regulatory guidelines.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Master's degree in Social Work, Family Therapy, or related field.
• Licensed or license-eligible as a Mental Health Professional in Minnesota.
• At least two years of post-degree experience in social work or psychology.
• Experience with youth with SED/ED diagnoses and school-based mental health services preferred.
• Ability to build relationships, handle sensitive situations, and work in a fast-paced environment.

Physical Requirements

• Sitting at a desk and working on a computer for prolonged periods.
• Ability to lift up to 15 pounds.
• Sufficient vision and hearing to perform job functions.
