Job summary

Compass Health Network is seeking a School-Based Therapist to deliver mental health services directly in the Lebanon School District, serving students across grade levels on a Monday–Friday schedule. You’ll provide individual, family, and group therapy, complete evaluations and treatment plans, and coordinate care with school staff and Compass providers to ensure wraparound services.

Required: Master’s in a human services field and Missouri licensure (LCSW/LPC/LMFT).

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in a human service field.
• Missouri licensure: LCSW, LPC or LMFT (or provisional). It must be valid in Missouri.
• Experience in school-based settings preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide mental health therapy (individual, family, and/or group) to students based on their needs.
• Complete initial evaluations, diagnostic assessments, and treatment plans in collaboration with the student and family.
• Coordinate care with school staff, families, and other Compass providers to support holistic treatment.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation (within 24 hours of service delivery).
• Participate in school meetings as appropriate to advocate for student needs.
• Serve as a mental health resource and consultant to school personnel.
• Support crisis intervention needs and safety planning, with 24/7 access to Compass’s crisis resources.
• Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to ensure wraparound care for each student.

As a School-Based Therapist with Compass Health Network, you’ll provide mental health services directly in the school setting, helping students and families overcome challenges and build brighter futures. This position serves all grade levels in the Lebanon School District. Based on a Monday-Friday 8am-5pm schedule.

Requirements, Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

Master’s degree in a human service-related field required

Licensure/Certification

• LCSW, LPC, or LMFT (or provisional) valid in Missouri required
