Job summary

Compass Health Network is seeking a Youth Outpatient Therapist to deliver individualized behavioral health services to children and adolescents in a collaborative, outcomes-focused team. You will assess, plan, and implement treatment, collaborating with families and a multidisciplinary staff to support youth well-being.

Ideal candidates hold a Master’s degree in counseling, social work or psychology and Missouri licensure or eligibility.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in counseling, social work, or psychology required.
• Working knowledge of DSM-5 criteria for diagnosis and treatment planning.
• Licensed or licensure-eligible in Missouri (PLPC, LPC, LMSW, LCSW, LMFT or PMFT).

Responsibilities

• Provide individual, family, and/or group therapy to youth clients based on clinical need and licensure.
• Assess readiness for services, develop treatment plans, and document progress per agency guidelines.
• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and collaborate on integrated care.
• Use DSM-5 criteria for diagnosis and treatment planning.
• Refer clients to internal and external resources as needed.
• Engage in ongoing clinical training, supervision, and documentation compliance.
• Attend staff huddles, supervision, and case consultations.
• Work Monday through Friday with no weekends or holidays.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain compliance with all agency, state, and federal documentation standards
• Participate in staff huddles, team supervision, and case consults
• Work Monday through Friday— no weekends or holidays required

Requirements, Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

• Master’s degree in counseling, social work or psychology required

Work Experience/Training/Additional Requirements

• Working knowledge of DSM-5 required

LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION

• PLPC, LPC, LMSW, LCSW, LMFT or PMFT license in Missouri required
