Job summary

Compass Health Network is hiring a School-Based Therapist to deliver mental health services directly in the RayPec School District. This full-time role runs Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm, with no private practice overhead and strong clinical supervision.

You will collaborate with teachers, counselors, and administrators to support students, families, and the school community, promoting early intervention and holistic care.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in a human service-related field required.
• MO licensure (LCSW/LPC/LMFT or provisional) required.

Responsibilities

• Provide mental health therapy (individual, family, group) to students.
• Complete evaluations, diagnostic assessments, and treatment plans with student and family.
• Coordinate care with school staff, families, and Compass providers.
• Maintain clinical documentation within 24 hours of service delivery.
• Participate in school meetings to advocate for student needs.
• Serve as a mental health resource and consultant to school personnel.
• Support crisis intervention and safety planning, with 24/7 access to crisis resources.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team for wraparound student care.

As a School-Based Therapist with Compass Health Network, you'll provide mental health services directly in the school setting, helping students and families overcome challenges and build brighter futures. Key Responsibilities

• Provide mental health therapy (individual, family, and/or group) to students based on their needs
• Complete initial evaluations, diagnostic assessments, and treatment plans in collaboration with the student and family
• Coordinate care with school staff, families, and other Compass providers to support holistic treatment
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in compliance with agency policies (within 24 hours of service delivery)
• Participate in school meetings as appropriate to advocate for student needs
• Serve as a mental health resource and consultant to school personnel
• Support crisis intervention needs and safety planning, with 24/7 access to Compass's crisis resources
• Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to ensure wraparound care for each student

Requirements, Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

• Master's degree in a human service-related field required
• LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION: LCSW, LPC, or LMFT (or provisional) valid in Missouri required
