Job summary

Intercept Health is seeking a Therapeutic Aide to work with clients in a local school district, implementing trauma-informed behavior strategies and collecting progress data. You will support coping and pro-social skills in a school setting and collaborate with teachers and staff.

The role involves observing client progress, attending meetings, and coaching families on behavior management to promote skill generalization across environments.

Qualifications

• The selected candidate will have at least a high school diploma and previous professional experience working with children.
• Bachelor's degree in Behavioral science is preferred; specific experience with children who have Autism, intellectual or developmental disabilities, or ABA experience, is a plus!

Responsibilities

• Work 1:1 or in small groups with clients in a local school district.
• Implement behavior principles to increase coping and pro-social skills.
• Observe client skills and collect data for assessment and goal development.
• Collaborate with school personnel and attend school meetings.
• Provide coaching and training to parents/caregivers in behavior management strategies.
