Job summary

Communities In Schools of Kalamazoo is seeking a Site Coordinator to implement the ISS model within an assigned school building. You will oversee strategies, coordinate supports, and liaise with school leadership, staff, families and community partners to ensure Tier I and II/III services.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education and/or experience in child development, social work, public administration, education, or related field.
• Master’s degree preferred for advanced roles.
• Minimum of two years of experience working with children, adolescents, and families.

Responsibilities

• Leads the CIS Site Team to ensure coordinated, student-centered service delivery.
• Monitors the site operations plan with the principal, site team, and supervisor.
• Supervises, orients, schedules, and supports interns, volunteers, and providers.
• Develops and sustains effective volunteer, partner and intern engagement systems.
• Implements ISS model requirements, including assessment, planning, monitoring, and evaluation.
• Plans, organizes, and adjusts student support services to meet identified needs.
• Ensures timely and quality data entry, evaluations, and reports.
• Manages site supplies and designated technology.
• Communicates with teachers to support student progress while maintaining confidentiality.
• Promotes CIS value among staff, students, and families.
• Provides students and families information and referrals to community resources when services are unavailable at school.
