Job summary

Lakeshore Behavior Consulting is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist for a full-time, school-based position in Chicago Heights, Illinois. This in-person W-2 role offers consistent school-day hours, benefits, and a 12-month pay schedule.

You will provide direct speech and language therapy, collaborate with teachers and families, and help develop measurable IEP goals while ensuring compliance with district and state requirements. The team supports professional growth and clinical excellence.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
• Active Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with Speech-Language Pathologist endorsement.
• Active Illinois IDFPR Speech-Language Pathologist license.
• Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills.
• School-based SLP experience preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct speech and language therapy and consultative services.
• Conduct speech and language evaluations and write assessment reports.
• Develop measurable IEP goals and contribute to Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
• Monitor student progress and adjust services based on student needs and data.
