Job summary

Lakeshore Behavior Consulting is seeking a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist for a school-based role in Chicago Heights, IL. This in-person, W-2 position offers consistent school-day hours, benefits, and a 12-month schedule, with opportunities to collaborate with teachers and families.

The ideal candidate holds a Master’s in SLP and an IL PEL with SLP endorsement, with strong communication and organizational skills. Salary is $55–$65 per hour, up to $86,000 annually, plus benefits.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology required.
• Active IL PEL with SLP endorsement required.
• Strong communication, organization and collaboration skills.
• School-based SLP experience preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct speech and language therapy and consultative services
• Conduct speech and language evaluations and write assessment reports
• Develop measurable IEP goals and contribute to IEPs
• Monitor student progress and adjust services based on data
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary school teams
• Maintain accurate documentation and meet school, district, and state requirements
