Job summary

Lakeshore Behavior Consulting is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist for a school-based, in-person role in Chicago Heights, Illinois. This W-2 position follows a consistent school-day schedule with benefits and a 12-month pay cycle.

The SLP will deliver direct therapy and collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams. The ideal candidate holds a Master’s in Speech-Language Pathology and current Illinois licensure (PEL and IDFPR SLP).

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
• Active Illinois PEL with Speech-Language Pathologist endorsement.
• Active Illinois IDFPR Speech-Language Pathologist license.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct speech and language therapy and consultative services.
• Conduct speech and language evaluations and write assessment reports.
• Develop measurable IEP goals and contribute to IEPs.
• Monitor student progress and adjust services based on data.
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary school teams.
• Maintain accurate documentation and meet school, district, and state requirements.
