Job summary

Ascend Rehab Services, Inc. is seeking a School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist or Clinical Fellow to support K–12 students in the Greater Sacramento area. Join a clinician-led team dedicated to helping students build communication skills and succeed in the classroom.

You will conduct evaluations, develop treatment plans, provide individual and group therapy, and collaborate with teachers and staff to support IEP goals. CFs are welcome to apply and mentorship is highlighted.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
• Active CA SLP License (or eligibility).
• CFs welcome to apply.
• Experience or interest in pediatric/school-based settings.

Responsibilities

• Conduct speech and language evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Provide direct therapy services (individual and group) for students with a range of communication needs.
• Develop and implement IEP goals related to speech, language, social communication, and pragmatics.
• Collaborate with teachers, OTs, psychologists, and school staff to support student success.
• Participate in IEP meetings and communicate with families.
• Maintain accurate documentation, progress reports, and compliance with school guidelines.
• Support use of AAC and assistive technology as needed.
