Job summary

Powerback Pediatrics in the Greater Chicago area is seeking a School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist to support students aged 3–21 in the school setting. You will implement treatment plans focused on functional outcomes and IEP goals, collaborate with teachers, OT/PT, and PCP, and document progress with formal and informal measures.

Attend meetings, prepare annual reviews, and contribute to a supportive, growth‑oriented therapy team.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology and ASHA credentials.
• Full licensure or eligible to obtain ISBE license.
• CPR certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Implement treatment plans focused on functional outcomes per IEPs.
• Collaborate with teachers, OT/PT, and PCP as part of the treatment team.
• Assess and document progress with formal and informal measures.
• Prepare annual review reports and goals for each student.
• Attend school-related meetings and participate in IEP processes.
• Provide screenings and evaluations to determine needs for services.
