Responsibilities

• Assess and treat communication disorders including articulation, language, fluency, voice, and feeding/swallowing.
• Write and implement IEPs.
• Collaborate with staff to achieve IEP goals.
• Apply best-practice therapy techniques to meet student goals.
• Maintain data to show progress toward goals.
• Educate teachers and parents about the SLP role.
• Follow district policies and procedures.
• Adhere to professional ethics, laws and rules governing SPED.
