Job summary

EDU Healthcare is seeking a full-time, onsite School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist to support district partners during a short-term leave assignment beginning this spring. You will work with students, educators, and support teams in a school setting to make an immediate impact.

The role involves evaluating and diagnosing disorders, developing IEPs, providing direct therapy, and collaborating with teachers and families.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Active SLP license in Delaware or eligibility to obtain before start.
• ASHA CCC-SLP preferred; CFY candidates encouraged to apply.
• Experience working with school‑aged children preferred.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills.
• Knowledge of IEP processes and therapy documentation.
• Experience in a school-based setting with built-in holidays.
• Collaborate with educators and support staff to impact student success.
• Therapist-owned organization with access to materials, PD resources, and CEU reimbursement.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders.
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student’s needs.
• Provide direct therapy services to students in both individual and group settings.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to support student communication goals.
• Maintain detailed records and progress reports in accordance with school and district policies.
• Participate in IEP meetings and provide input on student goals and progress.
• Stay current with best practices and continue professional development as required.
