KIPP St. Louis is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist to serve students with communication disorders. The role operates under the Manager of Special Education within the Regional Support team and collaborates with school leaders, teachers, and parents.

Responsibilities include evaluating students, developing IEPs, coordinating service delivery, and reporting progress to families. This is a full-time, 12-month position beginning immediately.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology is required.
• CCC- SL P licensure is required.
• Experience in pediatrics/school-based speech therapy is preferred.
• Dedication to helping children grow and learn.
• Passion for working with students from underserved communities.
• Ability to take and implement feedback quickly.

Responsabilités

• Determine and manage referrals, identification, diagnosis, and follow-up for SLP students.
• Establish daily schedules for students per IEP service minutes.
• Perform initial evaluations and re-evaluations per guidelines.
• Analyze information to recommend speech-language services.
• Develop and update therapy plans and hold parent conferences.
• Schedule interventions using multiple service delivery models to meet needs.
• Collaborate with IEP team to monitor progress and accommodations.
