Job summary

Special School District of St. Louis County is hiring a Speech Language Pathologist to support district-wide programs in St. Louis, MO. The role focuses on assessment and intervention to help students overcome communication disorders and access general and special education.

SLPs work during the school day with a comprehensive benefits package including insurance, 13 PTO days, holidays and retirement; 10-month calendar with August–June dates depending on location.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in communication disorders required.
• Speech-language teaching experience in schools or other comparable settings preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess and intervene to develop students’ speech and language skills.
• Develop individualized plans to support students’ communication goals and ensure access to general and special education.
