Job summary

EDU Healthcare is seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist to join our school-based team in Michigan. You will evaluate, diagnose, and treat students with communication disorders within a collaborative school setting.

You will develop IEP-based goals, provide direct therapy in individual and group formats, and maintain thorough progress records. A state license and CCC-SLP are preferred; CFY candidates are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology (required).
• Active Michigan SLP license or eligibility to obtain before start.
• ASHA CCC-SLP preferred; CFY candidates encouraged to apply.
• Experience working with school-aged children preferred.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills.
• Knowledge of IEP processes, therapy documentation, and educational service delivery.
• Work in a structured, school-based setting with built-in school holidays.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders.
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student’s needs.
• Provide direct therapy services to students in both individual and group settings.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to support student communication goals.
• Maintain detailed records and progress reports in accordance with school and district policies.
• Participate in IEP meetings and provide input on student goals and progress.
• Stay current with best practices and continue professional development as required.
