Job summary

TrulyHired is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist to provide screenings, evaluations, and therapy services within a South Carolina school setting. The role involves coordinating with the Special Education team to develop Individualized Education Plans for students with speech-language impairments and ensuring compliance with district procedures.

The SLP will work under the supervision of the Special Education Coordinator and contribute to services aligned with proven educational practices

Qualifications

• SC Certification as Speech Language Therapist required.
• SC License to practice as Speech Pathologist required (SCLLR).
• ASHA CCC-SLP certification preferred or required as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Provide speech-language screenings, evaluations, and therapy services as per local, state, and federal regulations.
• Develop and implement IEP-based speech-language goals and programs with school staff.
• Coordinate with teachers and families; participate in meetings to support communication targets.
• Maintain accurate records and progress notes for each student served in speech-language services.
• Screen and refer students per district procedures and Child Find responsibilities.
• Provide staff development and resources to teachers on speech-language strategies and supports.
