Specialized Education Services, Inc. is seeking a School Speech Language Pathologist to support evaluation, treatment, and progress monitoring of students with communication disorders under a licensed SLP.

The role emphasizes implementing therapy, documenting progress, and collaborating with teachers and families to promote effective communication in an inclusive setting. The position requires an appropriate degree in communication disorders, SLPA training preferred, and CPR/BLS as applicable.

Qualifications

• Education & Certification: Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders, Speech-Language Pathology Assistant Studies, or a related field.
• Completion of an approved SLPA training program is preferred.
• Current CPR/BLS certification may be required.

Responsibilities

• Assist the supervising SLP in delivering direct speech and language therapy to individual students and small groups.
• Maintain accurate records of therapy sessions, student progress, and observations, following confidentiality and school policies.
• Work collaboratively with the SLP, classroom teachers, and other related service providers to support students’ communication goals.
• Help organize and maintain therapy materials, supplies, and equipment.
