Job summary

TrulyHired is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist to support students with diverse communicative needs in North Carolina. The role involves coordinating services with educators and families, conducting assessments, and documenting Medicaid billing for eligible students.

The SLP will develop IEPs, plan therapy, and ensure compliance with applicable laws while collaborating with school staff to maximize student outcomes.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology required.
• Certificate of Clinical Competence from ASHA preferred.
• G License from NC DPI required or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Organizes school program; coordinates services and maintains records according to rules.
• Maintains Medicaid billing profiles and therapy notes for eligible students.
• Conducts screening, testing, analyzes information, and makes program recommendations.
• Develops Individual Education Programs with teachers, parents, LEA representatives.
• Plans and delivers therapy using appropriate diagnostic tools and approaches.
• Provides consultation and referrals for implementation of services.
• Performs other duties as assigned by administrators.
