Job summary

ProCare Therapy is seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist to serve students from preschool through 5th grade in the Owosso area. This full-time, in-person contract role focuses on direct therapy and collaboration with school teams.

You will assess, diagnose, and implement individualized treatment plans, support IEP processes, and maintain compliant documentation while working within diverse educational settings to make a meaningful difference in students' communication and learning

Qualifications

• Masters degree in SLP or CSD required.
• State licensure and ASHA CCC-SLP certification (or eligibility).
• Experience in school settings preferred.
• Knowledge of IEP processes and strong documentation abilities.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans for speech, language, and communication needs.
• Provide direct therapy interventions to support students' academic and social success.
• Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to implement IEPs and monitor progress.
• Maintain timely, organized records in accordance with school/state guidelines.
• Consult with colleagues regarding language development and classroom strategies.
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to team decision-making.
