Qualifications

• Must be fully licensed (CCC-SLP) by ASHA.
• Ability to communicate and work cooperatively with parents, teachers, building staff and administration.
• Regular and reliable in person attendance is an essential job function.
• Knowledge and ability to provide best practice strategies in instruction of students in the area of speech and language.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate speech and language services for individuals to meet specific objectives
• Maintain records and ensure student confidentiality
• Perform screening, assess, diagnose and advise teachers of student needs and abilities
• Manage and conduct student speech-language therapy
• Ability to manage facilities, materials and equipment, including assistive technology necessary to deliver services
• Adhere to all district policies and regulations as well as all local, state and federal regulations
• Work in conjunction with the Director of Student Services and building administration to assist and complete other duties, related to the student program, as assigned by Administration
