Job summary

Tulsa Public Schools seeks a Speech Language Pathologist Assistant to support licensed Speech-Language Pathologists in screening, treatment, and documentation of speech and language disorders across assigned school sites.

The role delivers individualized therapy plans, collects performance data, and assists the therapy team with home practice, family engagement, and compliance with supervision requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CDIS required.
• Experience as SLPA or SLPA externship.
• Oklahoma Teacher Certification in Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant required.
• ASHA certificate and OBESPA licensure required.
• Valid Oklahoma driver's license required.
• Knowledge of speech and language development and therapy techniques.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver therapy under the supervision of a licensed SLP.
• Implement IEP goals and monitor progress.
• Collect and document student performance data.
• Support families and staff on therapy goals and home practice.
• Manage therapy materials and environment.
• Ensure supervision compliance and participate in professional development.
