Job summary

Tulsa Public Schools is seeking energetic and collaborative speech-language pathologists to join our exceptional student support services team. You will assess and treat students with language, pragmatics, articulation, and fluency disorders, participate in evaluations, develop IEPs, and consult with teachers.

Salary follows the Teachers' Salary Schedule ($43,500 - $82,548) with a 5% Special Education Supplement and a $5,000 bonus if Certificate of Clinical Competence is obtained.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in speech-language pathology from an accredited program.
• Completion of 400 clock hours practicum (375 direct contact, 25 observation).
• Nine months of supervised postgraduate experience approved by the Board of Examiners.
• Clinical interns must be supervised by a licensed SLP for at least two years.
• Pass examinations approved by the Board of Examiners.

Responsibilities

• Assess and treat students with language, pragmatics, articulation, and fluency disorders.
• Conduct therapy and evaluations and develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
• Consult with teachers and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.

Education

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology

400 clock hours practicum

9-month supervised postgraduate experience

Supervision by licensed SLP (2 interns max per supervisor)
