Job summary

AOT, Inc. is seeking a speech-language pathologist to provide school-based therapy in a single district in Pittsburgh, PA. The position runs four days per week for grades K-12, with support to assist classroom participation and mobility.

Responsibilities include direct therapy, collaboration with teachers and families, and comprehensive documentation for IEPs. Travel within the district may be required; continuing education and mentorship are available.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved Speech Language Pathology Program.
• CCC's are required or preferred.
• Educational or Instructional Certificate is required or preferred.
• Preferred candidates have experience working with children in the school setting.
• Competitive pay commensurate with experience.

Responsibilities

• Direct therapy with students in preschool to grade 12.
• Consultation with teachers, other therapists, support staff, and families to facilitate classroom mobility and participation.
• Documentation requirements include data collection, marking period progress updates, and yearly IEP revisions, including updated goals and treatment strategies.
• Attendance at IEP meetings is recommended.
• Case Management may be required.
• AAC consultation may be required.
• Some travel may be required throughout the school day.
