Job summary

Lincoln Consolidated Schools is seeking a Speech and Language Pathologist to provide services to students with disabilities, improving speech and language development across the school setting.

Responsibilities include evaluating students, delivering one-on-one and group therapy, and collaborating with staff and families to implement language-rich instruction and AAC strategies, while maintaining documentation and participating in IEP meetings.

Qualifications

• Possession of a Master’s degree in speech and language pathology is required.
• A valid Michigan SLP license or Educational Limited License with CFY plan is required.
• CCC-SLP from ASHA is required or acceptable alternative per Board.
• Background check as defined by the State of Michigan is required.

Responsibilities

• Conducts and provides written evaluation of students with speech, language, or related disorders.
• Provides direct one-on-one and group speech-language services to eligible students.
• Develops and writes annual goals and short-term objectives for caseload.
• Attends IEP team meetings and maintains records per laws and policies.
• Collaborates with staff and families and coordinates with community agencies as needed.
