Job summary

Synapse Speech-Language Pathology Group, PLLC in Memphis, TN seeks energetic Speech-Language Pathologists for school-based roles for the 2026-2027 year. In-person positions in Shelby County, with opportunities for Full-time, Part-time, or Contract engagement.

The ideal candidate holds a Master's in SLP, TN SLP license (or willingness to obtain), and is experienced with pediatric populations. CCC preferred; driver’s license and background check required.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders.
• CCC preferred but CFs considered.
• Current TN SLP license or willingness to obtain.
• Current TN Educator License or willingness to obtain.
• Valid U.S. driver’s license.
• Pass background check clearance.
• Experience with pediatric populations.

Responsibilities

• Provide evaluations, develop and implement therapy goals.
• Diagnose speech and language pathologies.
• Collaborate with other professionals, teams and families to provide well-rounded care.
• Educate students and teachers in treatment techniques, including assistive devices.
• Provide written documentation of services, including session notes and timely uploads to database.
• Develop or contribute to IEPs (Individual Education Plans).

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred, but Clinical Fellows (CFs) considered
• Current TN SLP License (or willing to obtain)
• Current TN Educator License (or willing to obtain)Have a valid U.S. driver’s license
• Pass background check clearance
• Possess strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Have the ability to walk, bend, sit, and stand during the work shift
• Provide own transportation
• Experience with pediatric populations

Responsibilities:

• Provide evaluations, develop and implement therapy goals
• Diagnose speech and language pathologies
• Act as a liaison and collaborate with other professionals/team members and families to provide well-rounded care
• Educate students and teachers in proper treatment techniques, including the use of assistive devices
• Provide written documentation of client services, including but not limited to, writing session notes and uploading them to a database timely
• Develop or collaborate on the development of the IEP (Individual Education Plan)
