Job summary

Qualifications

• Michigan licensure in Speech-Language Pathology required.
• CCC or CFY applicants welcome.

• Experience with MTSS/RTI models.
• Experience facilitating the IEP process.
• Ability to communicate with students, parents and staff.
• Proficient with educational technology.

Responsibilities

• Maintains IEP compliance for students on caseload in a timely manner.
• Serves as a resource to staff for speech and language improvement.
• Provides therapeutic programs to meet individual speech needs.
• Assists teachers in observing and referring speech-language concerns.
• Provides thorough assessment and diagnosis of speech, voice, hearing, and language issues.
• Refers individuals to community agencies as appropriate.
• Collaborates with teachers to implement therapy in daily activities.
• Maintains thorough records of therapy and services.
• Keeps lists of referred and eligible students and related services.
