Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Speech and Language Disorders, Communication Disorders, or a similar field.

Responsibilities

• Assist the SLP in developing a balanced program for oral communication and speech improvement with staff.
• Assist the SLP in providing therapeutic programs to meet individual student needs.
• Assist the SLP in screening for speech impairments without clinical interpretation.
• Follow documented treatment plans or protocols from the supervising SLP.
• Document student performance and report to the supervising SLP.
• Program and provide instruction in the use of AAC devices.
• Provide information, support, and counseling to parents and families under supervision.
