Job summary

Candor Consulting & Diagnostics is seeking a compassionate Speech-Language Pathology Assistant to support students under the supervision of the SLP. You will assist in evaluation, implement therapy plans, and monitor AAC devices to help students meet communication goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders or Speech-Language Pathology.
• Valid licensure as an Assistant in Speech-Language Pathology by the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation (TDLR).
• Current CPR certification.
• Bilingual skills preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in evaluation and intervention under supervision of the SLP.
• Implement therapy plans designed by the SLP.
• Monitor and support use of AAC devices.
• Record and report student progress and outcomes for IEP goals.
• Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and advocate for students’ communication needs.
