Qualifications

• Active Pennsylvania Department of Education (PDE) Certification.
• Fully credentialed as a School Counselor, School Social Worker, or Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC).
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual and group counseling to students in need of social, emotional, or behavioral support.
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to develop intervention plans and strategies.
• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and contribute to IEP development as required.
• Maintain accurate, confidential documentation and reports in compliance with school and legal standards.
• Advocate for student access to community and school-based resources.

Job description

Play a key role supporting students well-being and success as a member of a dynamic school-based team. This contract position offers the chance to work closely with learners, families, and educators in a vital educational services programmaking a real impact in the school community.

As a School Counselor, School Social Worker, or Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), youll collaborate with cross-disciplinary partners to address student needs, provide direct support, and create safe, inclusive spaces for learning and personal growth. Youll work part-time with a flexible, family-friendly schedulewith the possibility to increase to full-timethrough the academic year ending June 2027.

Required Qualifications:

• Active Pennsylvania Department of Education (PDE) Certification
• Fully credentialed as a School Counselor, School Social Worker, or Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC)
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Experience working within school settings or with youth populations preferred

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide individual and group counseling to students in need of social, emotional, or behavioral support
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to develop intervention plans and strategies
• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and contribute to the development of individualized education programs (IEPs) as required

• Monday, Wednesday, Friday: 8:30 AM 1:00 PM
• Tuesday, Thursday: 10:00 AM 2:30 PM
