Job summary

Learn It Systems seeks a Licensed School Counselor in Philadelphia to join a collaborative educational team serving non-public schools across the area. You will provide one-on-one or small-group guidance to promote student engagement and academic performance. Start ASAP.

Compensation is $35–$40/hour based on experience. PA certification and willingness to obtain required clearances are required, with responsibilities including liaison with parents and educators and data-informed progress

Qualifications

• Willing to obtain Pennsylvania clearances within 1 year.
• Computer proficiency, including Google Drive and Zoom.
• Ability to provide high level customer service to principals, teachers, and parents.
• Proficiency in gathering and analyzing data and reporting on student progress.
• Excellent organization and communication skills.
• Must be able to lift 30 pounds.
• Work location is in a school building with stairs.

Responsibilities

In this role, you will be part of a collaborative educational team consisting of a supervisor and educators. The team partners with school districts to deliver high-quality education to students in a small-group learning environment within non-public schools across Philadelphia.

As a Licensed School Counselor, you will work one-on-one or in small groups to provide classroom guidance, promote student engagement, and support academic performance.

Responsibilities include:

• Consulting and building strong rapport with parents, classroom teachers, school principals, and other school personnel
• Maintaining open and consistent communication with school staff and families
• Providing local resources to school staff and parents as needed

Start Date: ASAP

Compensation: $35–$40/hour, based on experience and qualifications

Qualifications

• Must be willing to obtain and provide all required Pennsylvania clearances and requirements dated within 1 year.
• Computer proficiency required, including but not limited to, Google Drive and Zoom.
• Ability to provide a high level of customer service to principals, classroom teachers, and parents.
• Proficiency in gathering and analyzing relevant data and reporting on student progress required.
• Must have exceptional organization and communication skills.
• Must be able to lift 30 pounds.
• Work location is in a school building where employee will need to be able to go up and down stairs.
• Frequent standing and ability to raise arms above the head.
• Hand dexterity for typing and entering data into a computer.
