Job description

Step into a meaningful role supporting students’ emotional and social growth within a dynamic school setting. This contract position offers the opportunity to work as a School Counselor, School Social Worker, or School-Based Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), contributing to a collaborative and student‑focused program. You'll engage with students and staff in a welcoming environment that values compassionate care and proactive problem-solving.

This part-time position runs through June 2027, with the possibility to transition to a full-time schedule in the future. The workweek is uniquely structured to offer flexibility, with hours as follows: Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 8:30 AM to 1:00 PM, and Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10:00 AM to 2:30 PM.

Key Qualifications and Experience:

• Current Pennsylvania Department of Education (PDE) Certification is required.
• Fully credentialed in one of the following: School Counselor, School Social Worker, or Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC).
• Experience working within school environments supporting the social, emotional, and behavioral needs of students.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with students, families, and interdisciplinary teams.
