Job summary

Sunbelt Staffing is seeking a school-based Social Worker to support students in a K-8 or preschool setting near Golden, CO for the 2026-2027 school year. The role involves direct student support, collaboration with families, teachers, and administrators, and ensuring compliance with special education services.

You will work onsite five days per week (37.5 hours) with responsibilities including counseling, assessments, eligibility determinations, and documentation to support IEP goals.

Qualifications

• Requires active Colorado psychologist licensure.
• Certified by the Colorado Department of Education (CDE) to work in schools.
• Demonstrated experience in K‑8 or early childhood settings.
• Strong IEP team collaboration and compliance experience.
• Ability to administer assessments and evaluations.
• Excellent communication, organization, and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Provide counseling and support to students to help them reach IEP goals.
• Collaborate with special education teams to implement intervention plans.
