Job summary

The candidate will provide individual and group counseling, assist with IEP goals, conduct psychosocial assessments, and help implement behavior supports, with a focus on at-risk youth

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) required.
• Valid state-issued social work license (Colorado) required.
• Experience in a school-based or child-focused setting preferred.
• Knowledge of IEP processes, behavioral interventions strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual and group counseling to students in general and special education settings.
• Progress monitor and document IEP goals related to social work services; participate in IEP meetings.
• Conduct psychosocial assessments to support eligibility determinations for special education services.
• Perform functional behavior assessments (FBAs) and assist with behavior intervention plans.
• Conduct risk assessments and provide crisis intervention as needed.
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to promote academic and social-emotional success.
• Connect students and families with community resources and supports.
• Maintain accurate clinical records in compliance with state requirements.
• Offer consultation and professional development for staff on behavioral factors.
