Job summary

TheraPeds Partners seeks a School Social Worker for a part-time, school-based role in Englewood, Colorado for the 2026-2027 school year. The position is on-site with guaranteed hours and strong district support.

You will work with students, families, and school teams to address social-emotional needs, implement IEP-related interventions, and collaborate across multidisciplinary professionals in a supportive educational setting.

Qualifications

• Requires MSW and Colorado licensure eligibility or active licensure.
• Experience with IEPs, IDEA, and special education processes is preferred.
• School-based or pediatric social work experience is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual and small-group social-emotional and behavioral support.
• Conduct student assessments and contribute to evaluations and IEP planning.
• Develop and implement interventions addressing social-emotional, behavioral, and functional needs.
• Deliver services outlined in students' IEPs.
• Monitor progress, maintain data, and complete documentation.
• Participate in IEP, multidisciplinary, and student-support team meetings.
• Support the development and implementation of behavior intervention plans (BIPs).
• Provide crisis intervention and appropriate referrals per district procedures.
• Collaborate with teachers, school psychologists, counselors, and other staff.
• Engage families to address barriers to participation and success.
