Job summary

Delta-T Group Virginia, Inc. is seeking a Licensed Social Worker to support K-12 students in the Washington, DC area.

This temporary role focuses on helping students with disabilities achieve academic, behavioral, social, and developmental goals through counseling and collaboration with school staff. The position requires a Masters Degree and experience in preventive work, family consultation, home visits, and MDT/IEP participation.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting K-12 students and families.
• Ability to collaborate with SST and school staff.
• Experience with MDT/IEP processes.
• Knowledge of community resources and referrals.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual and group counseling to students.
• Collaborate with school personnel to implement IEPs and MDT recommendations.
• Coordinate with families to support student progress and attendance.
• Advocate for student needs and facilitate access to community resources.
• Conduct home visits to strengthen home/school communication.
