Qualifications

• State license required for SLPA in Arizona.
• Experience with non-verbal students, sensory integration and challenging behaviors.
• Organizational skills and flexibility are essential.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and diagnose students with Speech & Language impairments.
• Plan and implement Speech & Language treatment plans.
• Train educational staff for program carryover.
• Collaborate with IEP team to support goals across settings.
• Participate in IEP and team meetings.
• Document progress via data collection and reports.
• Customize Augmentative Communication devices for students.
• Communicate with families about progress and needs.
