Job summary

Apache Junction Unified School District is seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to support students’ communication needs under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist. Qualifications

• Completion of an approved Speech-Language Pathology Assistant program or a Bachelor's degree in Communication Sciences & Disorders (or related field).
• Arizona SLPA License or eligibility for licensure is required.
• Arizona IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with speech and language screenings under supervision of a licensed SLP.
• Implement treatment plans and use approved techniques.
• Prepare materials and activities for therapy sessions.
• Document student progress and maintain service logs as directed by the SLP.
• Travel between school sites to support student caseloads.
