Job summary

Career Links is seeking an experienced School-Based Speech Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) for a full-time, in-person role for the 2026/2027 school year in Texas. You will support students with communication goals under the supervision of a licensed SLP.

The role involves managing therapy sessions, assisting with IEPs, and collaborating with educators and families to maximize student outcomes in a school setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Speech and Language Pathology or related field.
• Minimum of one year SLPA experience in school or pediatric setting.
• Strong technology skills to provide services using digital platforms.

Responsibilities

• Assist supervising SLP in identifying and supporting students with speech and language impairments.
• Support development and implementation of IEPs.
• Provide direct speech-language services to students from preschool through 12th grade.
• Develop and maintain therapy schedules and documentation.
• Participate in IEP meetings and other special education planning sessions.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, administrators and related service providers.
