Job summary

Soliant is seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathology Assistant to support students in a Colorado Springs school setting. Under the supervision of a licensed SLP, you will assist in implementing therapy plans and documenting progress to help students improve communication skills.

Responsibilities include one-on-one or small-group support, therapy material preparation, and collaboration with teachers and families. CO SLPA license and relevant education required.

Qualifications

• Requires Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology Assisting or related field.
• Valid SLPA license or certification in CO.
• Experience in school or pediatric settings preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Basic knowledge of speech and language disorders and therapy techniques.

Responsibilities

• Implement speech and language therapy activities as directed by the supervising SLP.
• Work one-on-one or in small groups with students to support communication goals.
• Document student performance and progress accurately and in a timely manner.
• Assist with preparing therapy materials and maintaining organized records.
• Support classroom integration of speech and language strategies.
• Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families as appropriate.
• Adhere to all district policies, procedures, and confidentiality requirements.
