Job summary

Sunbelt Staffing is seeking a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) for a full-time, school-based contract near Peyton, CO. You will support direct speech therapy under an SLP, implement IEPs, and help track student progress in a collaborative district setting.

The assignment features a 37.5-hour work week with paid admin and meeting hours, on-site supervision, and a Zoom interview process. Colorado SLPA license or eligibility is required; all backgrounds checks apply.

Qualifications

• Active or pending Colorado SLPA license/credential.
• Bachelor's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, Communication Sciences and Disorders, or an SLPA program certificate.
• Eligibility to complete required background checks and fingerprinting prior to the start date.
• School-based experience is a plus, but candidates of any experience level are welcome.

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct speech and language therapy sessions to students under SLP supervision.
• Carry out treatment plans and implement IEPs.
• Maintain meticulous student records and document progress.
• Take an active role in multidisciplinary meetings and administrative planning, with indirect hours paid.
• Foster collaboration with educators, parents, and support staff to meet student needs.
