As an SLPA, you will implement treatment plans, document progress, prepare therapy materials, and assist with IEP communications, collaborating with supervising SLPs, teachers, and school staff to foster communication growth.

Qualifications

• Active SLPA license in Missouri or eligibility to obtain state credentials.
• Experience supporting speech-language services in a school or pediatric setting.
• Familiarity with IEP documentation and implementation.
• Strong collaboration with supervising SLPs, teachers, and school staff.
• Excellent organizational abilities, multitasking, and adaptability.
• Passion for facilitating communication progress and student success.

Responsibilities

• Carry out treatment plans established by SLPs, delivering therapy to students individually or in groups.
• Assist in documenting session data, progress reports, and IEP communications.
• Support the speech program across multiple grade levels as assigned.
• Prepare therapy materials and support activities for student sessions.
• Communicate with families and staff to reinforce speech and language strategies.
• Participate in meetings, training, and professional development activities.
