Qualifications

• Active SLPA licensure as required by state
• Experience in school or pediatric settings desirable
• Familiarity with techniques for supporting speech, language and communication needs
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Responsibilities

• Support licensed Speech-Language Pathologists in delivering therapy services to students with speech and language challenges
• Implement IEP goals and track student progress under supervising SLPs
• Assist with documentation, progress notes, and preparation of session materials
• Engage students in age-appropriate activities to promote language and communication development
• Participate in team meetings and collaborate with teachers, staff, and parents to foster student success
• Maintain a positive, encouraging, and inclusive learning environment
