Job summary

Soliant is seeking a full-time Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to support students' communication needs in a California school setting, working 35 hours per week. The role focuses on delivering speech and language services and helping students achieve academic and social growth.

You will collaborate with SLPs, teachers, and staff, conduct screenings, collect progress data, and contribute to IEP goals.

Qualifications

• Valid SLPA license or certification required for practice in California.
• Experience in K-12 school environments or pediatric care settings highly preferred.
• Familiarity with IEPs and data collection techniques.
• Strong collaboration with speech-language pathologists, teachers, and support staff.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
• Compassionate demeanor and dedication to supporting students' individual needs.

Responsibilities

• Work directly with students, implementing treatment plans under supervision of a licensed SLP.
• Assist with administering speech and language screenings and collecting data for progress monitoring.
• Support development and follow-through of IEP goals by delivering engaging activities and interventions.
• Maintain accurate documentation and contribute to progress reports.
• Collaborate with classroom educators and families to foster positive learning outcomes.
• Participate in team meetings, trainings, and ongoing professional development.
