Job summary

EDU Healthcare is urgently seeking a full-time SLPA to support districts in a structured school setting. The role is onsite or remote, with supervision by a licensed SLP and involvement in IEP implementation and progress reporting.

You will reinforce speech-language goals with students, collaborate with educators, and maintain accurate records. CA licensure is required, and professional development resources are provided through the organization.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology (Bachelor’s in CSD preferred).
• Active SLPA license/certification in CA.
• Knowledge of speech and language development.
• Experience working with school-aged children preferred.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills.
• Structured, school-based setting with built-in holidays.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct therapy services under the supervision of a licensed SLP.
• Assist with implementing IEPs and therapy activities.
• Reinforce communication strategies in individual and group settings.
• Monitor and document student progress, reporting to supervising SLPs.
• Support teachers and staff in integrating goals into classroom activities.
• Maintain accurate records in compliance with guidelines.
• Participate in professional development and stay current with best practices.
