Job summary

Qualifications

• Active New Jersey SLP licensure required.
• Previous school-based experience preferred.
• Ability to collaborate with educators, administrators, and families.
• Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
• Familiarity with a range of speech and language disorders and intervention strategies.
• Capacity to manage caseloads across diverse grade levels.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct speech and language therapy services to students from elementary through high school.
• Conduct comprehensive evaluations and re-evaluations, documenting findings and recommendations.
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student’s unique needs.
• Consult with classroom teachers and other professionals to integrate supportive strategies into daily instruction.
• Maintain accurate and timely records in accordance with state and district policies.
• Engage in progress monitoring and ongoing assessment to adapt and refine therapy approaches.
• Communicate effectively with families regarding student goals, progress, and strategies for continued success.
