Job summary

Sunbelt Staffing is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist to support students across elementary through high school in a district near Edison, NJ. This contract role involves assessments, therapy, and collaboration with teachers and families to promote communication growth.

You will conduct evaluations, develop individualized treatment plans, provide direct therapy in group and one-on-one settings, and maintain compliant records.

Qualifications

• Active New Jersey SLP license required.
• Experience in an educational setting preferred.
• Ability to support elementary, middle and high school students.
• Strong communication with students, teachers and families.
• Proficiency in assessment and individualized therapy planning.
• Flexibility to adapt to diverse student populations.

Responsibilities

• Conduct speech-language evaluations and assessments for students with communication challenges.
• Develop and execute individualized treatment plans tailored to student needs.
• Provide direct therapy services to students in individual and group settings.
• Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and support staff to ensure integrated plans.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with district/state guidelines.
• Communicate regularly with families to discuss progress and home carryover.
